Send Ping

“Send Ping” is a tool used to ping a device/host to see how fast the response is (and if one even exists).

Once the tool is started, select the Host/IP Address you want to ping. You either manually type the IP address or select one from the list of values contained in the drop-down list.

To get the list of IP addresses you can ping or to update the list, simply click on the Refresh button.

Then type the message you want to send.

Finally, choose between synchronously or asynchronously sending the ping. (see [Figure 2])
