class mtf.network_port.channels.channel.Channel

This parent class derives the classes for different types of channels

static __new__(cls, channel_name: str, *args, **kwargs)

Overrides the __new__ method to ensure only one instance of Bus class is created for each channel_name.

Args:

channel_name (str): The name of the channel.

Returns:

Bus: The Channel instance associated with the channel_name.

__init__(channel_name: str, *args, **kwargs)

Initializes a Channel instance with the given channel_name.

Args:

channel_name (str): The name of the channel.

property channel_name: str

Retrieves the name of the channel.

Returns:

str: The name of the channel.

property channel_type: str

Retrieves the type of the channel.

Returns:

str: The type of the channel.

classmethod clear_registered_busses()

Clears the instances dictionary of registered channels.
